58 Questions with Vogue

I have seen a tag floating around on a few blogs called '73 Questions with Vogue' which is a series of questions asked with the intention of getting to know someone slightly better. It was initally a series started by Vogue which saw journalists interview celebrities about the details surrounding their lives and I guess bloggers hopped on to the bandwagon. I wanted to part take in it so I have also taken the time to Q&A myself, however, I have removed some of the questions as I felt they were boring and irrelevant so here it goes: 

1. What’s the best thing that has happened to you this year?
Waking up to see another day.

2.What’s the best thing ever?
The love of God. Unconditional love. Being appreciated. Having a passion life. Being inspired and motivated.

3. What is your favourite season?
Winter and Autumn.

4. What’s your favourite holiday?
Christmas. Everyone is in high spirits during this time period and it just makes the season that much more enjoyable. Also, the birth of Jesus :) Who doesn't like Christmas?

5. Would you ever live in a big city?
I live in London which is a big city, right?

6. Cake or pie?

7. What’s your least favourite food?
Onions. Unless they are in a burger or a pattie or somewhere its barely visible.

8. It’s brunch, what do you eat?
Umm. English breakfast?

9. What’s your favourite colour?
Blue. Blue for me represents peace, clarity and relaxation.

10. What colour dress did you wear to your prom?
Baby blue, I still have the dress till this day!

11. Do you think you’re strong?
I am on my way, i'm still learning everyday.

12. Who’s a person you’d love to have coffee with?
I'll get back to you when I think of someone..

13. When was the last time you cried?
A couple of weeks ago, I think.

14. Who’s the last person you texted?
My sister.

15. Twitter or Instagram?
Twitter. Twitter is engaging and interactive whereas Instagram is flicking through random people's photo album. It is great for fashion inspiration though!

16. Who should everyone follow right now?
Me! I am active on Twitter :)

17. Have you ever had anything stolen from you?
If I remember correctly someone stole my phone in year 8. I was so careless and forgetful so something like that was bound to happen. I hope the person took good care of it, it wasn't cheap!

18. Favourite country you visited?
I have only visited one other country aside from the one I already live in so I don't really have many options to decide from.

21. First pet?
I have never had a pet before. I wouldn't mind some goldfish.

22. What are you doing tomorrow?
I haven't planned that far ahead.

23. What are you most excited about in life right now?
The future.

24. What book are you reading right now?
Little Black Book by Otegha Uwagba. Go and get it on Amazon today, it's only £5. Thank me later.

25. A book you read because everyone else was reading it?
The Girl on the Train. I still haven't completed the book.

26. What are you completely bored of right now?
Songs that make no sense. Lazy lyrics that clearly have not been thought through. Makes me cringe.

27. What’s your favourite beverage?
Apple juice.

28. What would you order at a McDonald’s drive through?
Mocha latte, egg and sausage muffin, 2 double cheese burgers and large fries.

29. What’s one thing you still have from your childhood?
A jewellery box a friend gave me for my birthday.

30. What’s your favourite current tv show?
The Real & Keeping up With the Kardashians.

31. What’s a movie that made you cry?
Dear John.

32. What do you miss the most?
My childhood. I really enjoyed my childhood. I had a better social life  than I do now, can you imagine?! A good group of friends and I loved going to school. I would even get upset if I was ill and my mum wouldn't let me go in.

33. What’s something you can’t do?
Skate. One day I hope I can learn to ice skate, it looks like so much fun.

34. What makes you laugh a lot?
Funny memes.

35. Heels or flats?
Heels make me look 7ft tall and I can barely walk in them (they look stunning though!), so for that reason I am going to say flats.

36. What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve done?

38. What’s the thing you’re most proud of?
Starting my blog.

39. What did you want to do with your life at age 5?
That was 15 years ago. I wish I could trace my memory that long ago.

41. What’s the most important thing someone can learn?
Loving yourself. Appreciating yourself. Valuing yourself. Comforting yourself. Encourging yourself. Motivating yourself. Uplifting yourself. Inspiring yourself.

42. Mountain hideaway or beach house?
Mountain hideaway.

43. What’s your favourite scented candle?

44. If you could spend 3 months anywhere, where would it be?
New York.

45. Are you messy or neat?

46. What’s the first thing you do each morning?
Look at my phone. Bad habit, I know.

47. What do you have for breakfast?
Cornflakes. I have become addicted to these recently, I eat them at least twice a day sometimes.

48. What’s the last thing you do before you go to bed?
Short prayer.

49. What’s one skill you wish you had?
Flying. If I could fly I would be able to travel all around the world, free of charge.

50. What’s your favourite pizza?
Meat feast.

51. At what age were you happiest?
The age of 10. Lord, take me back!

52. What’s the last thing you ate?
Cheese and bacon toastie.

53. Where do you go when you need to be alone?
My room or for a walk.

54. What’s the biggest thing on your mind right now?
My future.

55. What’s the best activity to do at home on a rainy day?
Snuggle up in bed to read a good book or watch a movie with a takeaway.

56. What are you listening to right now?
Listening to a bunch of different genres.

57. Starter or dessert?

58. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with life right now?
Umm....5. I am alive and well which is a blessing in itself so I can only be grateful.
