5 London Museums to Visit This Winter

Recently I have realised how much I appreciate living London but it has dawned on me that I don't really know the city as well as I should despite me living here for two decades! One of the things I love doing when I find the time is visiting museums. Going to museums is simply a nice, relaxed way to spend your day either alone or with a friend or even as a fun family day out. Initially I wanted to make this post about free entry to museums -I mean after all, who doesn't like free things? But the ones that I have chosen seem really cool and worth the few pounds they cost! This summer I only managed to visit two museums but there is still time to visit  more in the near so without further ado let's go on:

Fashion & Textile Museum
83 Bermondsey Street, London, SE1 3XF

Cartoon Museum
35 Little Russell Street, London, Bloomsbury WC1A 2HH

Imperial War Museum
Lambeth Road, London, SE1 6HZ

Design Museum
224-238 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6AG

British Museum
Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury, London, WC1B 3DG
